Keralappiravi3rd – November 2017

Every birth is special. 1st November 1956, between the Southern Coast and frontiers of Western Ghats of the Indian Peninsula, combining and unifying the provinces of Travancore, Kochi and Malabar, State Kerala was born. Today, after more than six decades, Kerala is one of the most developed states in India.
On 3rd November, we, the proud children of this sacred land, fondly referred as the God’s Own Country, celebrated her birthday and feats of achievement.
Mr. Sivapresad N., the staff secretary, in his short message exhorted the students to always respect and honour the unique culture and tradition of our mother land. It was followed by “Kaviyarangu,” an initiative of the Department of Malayalam, in which students and teachers recited their poems in deep, resounding and rhythmic voice. There were also other innovative and entertaining events such as tongue twisters, Kerala quiz and speaking about a given topic continuously for two minutes completely in Malayalam. The programme concluded with National Anthem.

endence Day message. Patriotic song and drawing competitions were also conducted with the intention of fostering patriotism among the students.
