Joining Hands with IIT, Delhi – 23^rd June 2017

In an attempt to encourage entrepreneurship and help students with their own business ventures, the college started to collaborate with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. Prof. P Somarajan, who is the Executive Consultant for Foundation for Innovation and Technology Consultant at IIT, Delhi, inaugurated the Seminar and Symposium conducted by the college to this end on 23^rd June.

It also marked initiation of the process whereby an “Incubation Unit” of the IIT would begin functioning in the college extending support to students to instigate their own commercial enterprises. Incidentally, Girijyothi College became one of the very few institutions to accomplish this feat under Mahatma Gandhi University.

Prof. Somarajan, later, held an interactive session to address the concerns and clarify the doubts of the students.
