From School to College – Welcoming the First Years - 29th June 2017

It was another occasion abundant with hope and expectation, anxiety and anticipation and the first years, after bringing a successful end to their twelve-year scholastic journey, made their first steps into a shorter, albeit tougher, academic life. Most were accompanied by their parents and were at the centre of an affectionate welcome. Each one of them was presented with a rose flower by Rev. Fr. Babu Mattathil CMI, the Manager.

Earlier, besides extending his warmest greetings to the freshers, Rev. Fr. Toji Puthenkaduppil CMI, the Principal, made a presentation to the students explaining in detail about the history and origin of Girijyothi College, its Mission and Vision. Principal made it clear that the new comers should aware of the rules and regulations of the college.

Prof. Somarajan, later, held an interactive session to address the concerns and clarify the doubts of the students.
i> to supply fresh breath of life to cure the ailing planet. In fact, that is what we did. Rev. Fr Babu Mattathil CMI, the Manager marked the World Environment Day by planting the same which is renowned for its medicinal properties in treating cardiac diseases.
