IELTS Training for Teaching and Non-Teaching Faculty

Teaching and non-teaching faculties of Girijyothi College were given an intensive English Training Programme for a week (March-April 2016) by Carmel IELTS Centre, Muvattupuzha. Pronunciation, phonetics, construction of stylish and meaningful sentences, right uses of idioms, attractive presentation skills etc., were the main focus of the programme. It is an attempt to implement the English culture in the campus. It aims at improving the overall performance of teachers and students. As the motto of the college says, enlightenment, innovation and excellence, staff members are motivated to enter into the dynamics of English language with proper motivation. Rev. Fr. Simon Pazhampally CMI, Director, Carmel IELTS Centre, Muvattupuzha, Ms. Rejoice a. Shatsang, Thrmneikim Singson and Lalngaihawmi led the sessions.
