It was a
beautiful occasion when the first years came to our college after their
successful schooling. The light of knowledge was given to the students by Rev.
Fr. Babu Mattathil CMI, manager and Rev. Fr. Toji Puthenkaduppil CMI,
Principal. Afterwards Principal made a presentation to the students explaining
in detail the history and origin of Girijyothi College, its vision and mission
and rules and regulations. Afterwards, various orientation programmes were
conducted for the students by the teachers such as: university academic
programme, study methodology and good personality development.

We celebrated
Environmental day by giving life to a plant. Rev. Fr. Babu Mattathil CMI, the
Manager planted a guava tree in front of the College. Nature club coordinator
Mr.Ouseph Augustine gave a message to the student community regarding the
relevance of protecting the environment. Nature club took the initiative to
celebrate the world environmental day meaningfully.
