Yoga is a
physical, mental, spiritual practice which evolved before thousands of years to
embrace the wide range of styles and deciplines which aims to transform human
body and mind. In order to celebrate the International Yoga Day, the entire
Girijyothi College Family assembled in the auditorium and practiced Yoga. Dr.
Jayadev J.T and Dr. Lea Mary John from Government Ayurvedha Hosepital, Paremavu,
led the programme and trained our staff and students Yoga. Rev. Fr. Toji
Puthenkaduppil CMI, Principal, Mr. Sivaprasad N., Staff Secretary, and Mr. Sabu
Paulose, NSS Coordinator, made felicitations.

We celebrated
Environmental day by giving life to a plant. Rev. Fr. Babu Mattathil CMI, the
Manager planted a guava tree in front of the College. Nature club coordinator
Mr.Ouseph Augustine gave a message to the student community regarding the
relevance of protecting the environment. Nature club took the initiative to
celebrate the world environmental day meaningfully.
