Seminars of Economics, English and Malayalam Departments
On 17th January 2017 the
departments of Economics, English and Malayalam conducted their departmental
seminar collectively. Department of Economics presented their papers on the general
topic “Relevance of R.B.I. in the present Economic scenario.” Ms. Vishnumaya
Murali of I BA Economics presented her paper on the topic “R.B.I. its functions,
Advisory body, Bank Rate, RIPO Rate, CRR and SLR.” A paper on “Relevance of RBI
in the Present Economic Scenario” was presented by Ms. Amala John of II BA
Economics. Mr. Ashik Jose of I BA Economics too presented a paper on
“Demonetization: Impact on Indian Economy.” Mr. Abins Kurian of II B.Com CA represented the
Dept. of English and presented a paper entitled “An Outline View of the Periods
in English Literature.” This was followed by a paper presentation by Ms. Dani
Wilson of I B.Com F&T entitled “Cyber Malayalam” representing the Dept. of
Malayalam. Mr. Sunny Sudam of I BA Economics moderated the three sections successfully.
Ms. Athira C.G. of II BA Economics proposed the vote of thanks. The topics were highly relevant and
interesting for students.
