Club Inauguration

Various clubs of Girijyothi College was inaugurated on 4th of December 2015 at college Auditorium by Sri. K.A Francis, Chief Editor of Malayala Manorama Weekly and former Chairman of Lalitakala Academy, Kerala. Rev. Fr. Toji Puthenkaduppil CMI, Principal, welcomed the dignitaries on the dais.

Mr. Francis said that 'Youth' is the best age to nurture positive world outlook. He encouraged the audience to bring out innovative ideas, not at the expense of honesty and basic morals of life. After addressing the audience, he lit the lamp and inaugurated the clubs. Rev. Fr. Babu Mattathil CMI, Head of Girijyothi Group of Institutions, felicitated the gathering. Nature club, Arts and Literary Club and Anti-Addiction club were inaugurated on this day.

Afternoon was made joyous and colourful by the various entertainment programme hosted by the college students. Students from each club performed and exhibited their talents and made the event a fruitful one. The programme wound up by 4pm, with vote of thanks by Mr. Steffin George, pursuing studies in Commerce stream, followed by the National Anthem.
