Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme

Girijyothi College, Idukki conducted one day workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme in collaboration with The International Consortium for Entrepreneurship and Research (ICIER) on 12^th October 2015. Mr. P K Thomas, Co-founder and Coordinator of ICIER was the resource person for the workshop. Rev. Fr. Toji Puthenkaduppil, Principal, welcomed the speaker and audience and Rev. Fr. Babu Mattathil CMI, Head of Girijyothi Group of Institutions, inaugurated the programme.

Mr. P K Thomas conducted the workshop with the aid of PowerPoint presentation and detailed who an Entrepreneur is. He emphasized that a good entrepreneur innovates ideas and is a risk bearer. He also discussed about how the Entrepreneurial skills in a child can be sharpened through proper guidance.

The one day workshop inspired the students to initiate new entrepreneurial initiatives. Rev. Fr. Babu Mattathil  CMI gave away the participation certificates to the students. Mrs. Shobha Iyer, faculty of Commerce, extended gratitude to the resource person and the dignitaries.
